An expert immigration lawyer in Alabama, Jeremy Love has represented clients across the state since 2009. He has always been passionate about assisting those in need and has worked with many nonprofit organizations such as Alabama Coalition for Immigrant Justice (ACIJ), Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama (HICA), the Latin American Association, and the Volunteer Lawyers Program. After leading the immigration program at HICA for two years, Jeremy formed the Love Law Firm in 2012. He represents clients in a broad spectrum of immigration cases including family petitions, waivers, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), U Visas, DACA, Special Immigrant Juvenile, nonimmigrant visas, and naturalization.

Jeremy received his law degree from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, a degree in Spanish from the University of Tennessee and is a member of both the Alabama and Georgia state bars. He received a Certificate of Commendation from the US Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division for “outstanding performance and invaluable assistance.” Jeremy has been featured many times as a Top Attorney in Alabama and has been a speaker for the American Immigration Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and the Birmingham Bar Association.

    Emily is a Tuscaloosa native whose passion for serving and empowering immigrant communities began early in life. Growing up, she spent many of her summer breaks in Honduras and Ecuador alongside her father, Dr. Lovely, helping provide free medical care to individuals in remote and underserved regions. Those experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to advocacy, compassion, and service.

    Emily graduated from the University of Alabama with a double major in Spanish and International Studies. During her undergraduate studies, she taught English as a Second Language at Shelton State Community College and later served as a Spanish instructor at a local high school. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law.

    Emily began her legal career at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, where she worked to secure justice for victims of crime and gained invaluable courtroom and litigation experience. She joined Love Immigration Law Firm in 2024 and quickly became known for her client-centered approach, fierce advocacy, and unwavering dedication to immigrant families navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

    Emily represents individuals and families in a wide range of immigration matters, with a particular focus on humanitarian relief and removal defense.     Samantha has been practicing immigration law since 2020, focusing primarily on humanitarian forms of relief for victims of persecution and violent crimes, including removal defense, asylum, U visas, T visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile Petitions, and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).  Samantha is an Alabama native but spent seven years in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts before returning to Alabama in 2022. Prior to joining the Love Law Firm, she worked as Supervising Attorney at Catholic Charities of Fall River in Fall River, MA, where she partnered with many community-based organizations and government entities to support the immigrant community. She also clerked for the Rhode Island Supreme Court after graduating from law school.
